Berlin, September 9-10, 2025: Philipp Rösler, CEO of Consessor AG, took part in the Bayer Sustainability Council meeting in Berlin on September 9 and 10, 2025.
As a member of the Council, he joined global leaders, scientists, and policymakers for two days of high-level discussions on the future of sustainability.

The meeting focused on how to meet the needs of a growing world population while protecting natural resources. One key topic was innovation for farmers and food security, exploring how modern crop protection solutions and regenerative agriculture can increase yields while safeguarding biodiversity.

Global health was another central theme. Council members discussed new family planning options such as non-hormonal contraception as well as innovative financing models like the Health Impact Credit, aimed at improving access to healthcare worldwide.
The Council also addressed strategies to strengthen climate and health resilience, with the goal of making value chains, healthcare systems and communities more robust in the face of climate change. Another focus was on nature and biodiversity strategies and how business models can be more closely aligned with ecosystem protection and the promotion of regenerative agriculture.

As a Council Member, Philipp Rösler underlined the importance of linking innovation with measurable impact: “Sustainable growth and social progress must go hand in hand. Only if technological innovation delivers real benefits for people and the planet can we shape a better future,” he said.
Consessor AG is proud to be part of this global dialogue and to work with strong partners on innovative solutions for a more sustainable world.
